My mom is a good friend.
Every morning my mom has a 35 mile commute to work and during that time she calls me as I am just getting to work. We spend our mornings catching up from the previous day, figuring out who will go home on American Idol and just chatting about whatever. I can talk about any and everything with my mom. She is a good listener and I know I can alway trust her. These minutes, or should I say moments, that I share with my mom every morning are ones that I will cherish the rest of my life...
